 We
are an educational (ED in CLOT-ED) resource for healthcare professionals
interacting with patients having bleeding or thrombotic disorders,
and for patients with health-related problems in these areas
trying to learn more about their conditions. Our name, CLOT,
is an acronym (Coagulation, (fibrino)Lysis, Or Thrombosis).
Our logo depicts coagulation as an amplification process (coagulation
enzymes represented by gold ovals) that results in thrombin
generation and fibrin formation (formed fibrin clot represented
